ST HOSPITALITY

St Hospitality is a hospitality management company that owns and operates three distinct venues in Liverpool, UK: Royal Institution, Seel St Venue and Castle St Townhouse. Each venue has its own unique concept, catering to a different audience and offering a unique experience.

CHALLENGE

In 2022, St Hospitality approached Propel PR with the aim of increasing their brand awareness and generating buzz around their venues. They’d recently opened Royal Institution and purchased Seel St Venue and both venues were their top priority. St Hospitality were looking for a PR agency that could create tailored strategies for each venue and help them stand out in a highly competitive market.

STRATEGY

Working closely with the St Hospitality team, Propel PR developed a bespoke PR plan that focused on media relations, influencer engagement and event management for the venues. The team identified key media outlets and influencers in the hospitality industry, and crafted tailored pitches and press releases to secure coverage in these publications to effectively communicate each venue’s individual key messaging.

VENUE SPECIFIC TACTICS

To ensure that each venue received tailored PR support, Propel PR developed specific strategies for each site. For the Royal Institution, the team focused on securing coverage in relevant media outlets, positioning the venue as a unique and sophisticated space that is also available for private hire. Propel PR also hosted A Festive Evening with the Royal Institution that brought a carefully curated guestlist to the venue where they could soak up the Christmassy atmosphere and sample the bar’s expertly made cocktails.

For Seel St Venue, the focus was on securing coverage in local and regional press, highlighting the venue's versatility and ability to host a wide range of events, as well as its music offering. St Hospitality hadn’t had chance to hold a launch party so we got to work on a suitable date and invited a range of influencers, bloggers, media and local businesses to see the space, experience the entertainment and enjoy their drinks.

RESULTS

The tailored PR strategies developed by Propel PR were highly successful, generating both extensive media coverage and a social media buzz for each venue.
