Wyld Sauna
Wyld Sauna is the UK’s first public floating sauna, situated in the heart of Liverpool at the city’s Princes Dock. With a luxurious 30-person sauna, four ice baths, changing facilities and direct access into the water offering cold water therapy at the stunning facility.
With Wyld Sauna being a UK first, Propel PR was tasked with engaging launch events that included different demographics to ensure we captured their target audience.
It was also essential to effectively communicate the full offering Wyld Sauna’s benefits for both body and mind.
Wyld Sauna is an incredibly unique venue and, therefore, it needed a unique approach. Focussing on exclusive preview evenings where we invited key influencers in the fitness and wellbeing space, as well as business owners and corporates who have an interest in their social corporate responsibility and looking after their employees, to media who wanted to report on the facility that’s a UK first, Propel PR introduced Liverpool to the city’s newest experience.
Utilising our contacts, as well as branching out and connecting with individuals and businesses that Wyld would resonate with, we created an exciting guestlist of all different demographics.
Partnering with local breathwork specialist iBreathWithSammy, we created an additional experiential element for guests where they could take advantage of her support whilst enjoying their ice bath experience or cold water swim in the dock itself!
Completing the events was natural wines from local wine shop Ropes & Twines, and low calorie, low carb, vegan and organic fizz from Think Wines, another Liverpool-born brand, as well as Nordic-inspired mini open toasts from Pomegranate, a local healthy eatery who will now permanently reside in Wyld offering buddha bowls, salads to go, protein balls, smoothies and juices, adding to the overall wellbeing ethos at the facility.
Propel PR also supported with press releases targeting local and regional press, securing 23 pieces of media coverage.
Wyld Sauna was fully booked for its soft opening weekend, and has been completely inundated ever since.
The preview evenings were a huge success with guests leaving feeling ‘refreshed’, ‘invigorated’ and ‘alive’! Many longer term partnerships have been forged with local businesses and influencers who want to host exclusive private events for their own communities and have visited repeatedly since.
