Sapporo

Sapporo has been a staple in Liverpool for over 20 years, and with a recent investment into creating the new lounge and beautiful conservatory space, the team enlisted the help of Propel PR to create a strategy to launch the space and create some excitement around the venue.

We proposed to host a special evening where guests were invited to familiarise themselves with the venue, food, drinks and service, as well as traditional PR, securing quality news coverage as well a review to build on credibility and reinforce the message of amazing food and drinks and fantastic entertainment.

Over two sittings, we welcomed over 150 guests to the new lounge and conservatory space where they tucked into sushi, starters and cocktails before going on to enjoy the full teppanyaki experience. This effectively showcased both sides of the venue; the traditional experience with all of the entertainment that Sapporo is renowned for, as well as a more relaxed offering in the new space.

The event garnered over 200 social media posts and tags from influencers, food and drink bloggers, businessowners and the corporate community in Liverpool.

To accompany this, we wrote and distributed a press release which featured on the Liverpool Echo, The Guide Liverpool, Good News Liverpool, Insider Media and Eat Lpl.
